Canare 4S8 Star Quad Speaker Cable

Speaker cables carry relatively high signal levels, typically tens to hundreds of watts of RMS power. EMI can radiate from these cables directly into adjacent low voltage cables (i.e. microphone, video lines, etc.). By using a 4-conductor “Star Quad” configuration these magnetic fields are cancelled out, providing superior emissions reduction compared to standard 2-conductor speaker wire.

G&H Plugs Mid-Sized Bigfoot TS Plugs

When performance matters, the Bigfoot delivers. It starts with an OFC copper core for maximum conductivity. The copper is expanded into the tip for a solid connection. Then it, along with the plug body are placed into a plastic mold. The insulating material is injected into them forming a solid assembly.

Calculation based on total cable resistance not exceeding 5% of speaker load impedance.

Canare 4S8 combines to 13AWG, and specs at 4.5mOhm/foot (single conductor) and 2.25mOhm/foot for combined conductors

• 4 ohm load – 45 feet
• 8 ohm load – 80 feet
• 16 ohm load – 160 feet

You may use the provided lengths as general guidance. If you need to run longer cables with stated loads, it is best to move up in size to the next larger gauge (smaller number) cable.
